Our building in Thane is registard society is going for redevelopement. We have done conveyance agreement and Builder put up plans in TMC for approval. Now suddenly builder is asking all flat owners to pay GST 18% on their carpet area as per the ready reckoner rates which is huge amount. I wanted to know whether this cost should be borne by builder or society members . pl let us know any TMC rules for the same.
